Genmai means brown rice. This speciality consists of Bancha tea, to which about 50% roasted or puffed rice is added. The incomparable taste is characterised by the softness of the Bancha tea and a pleasant, slightly sweet-nutty and caramel note. Due to its fine mildness, this tea is ideal for all-day enjoyment. Green tea novices can also gain their first experience here, not least when switching from the flavoured range. Ingredients: green tea, husked rice. The correct preparation of Green Tea Japan Genmaicha is also crucial. Here is our tip: Use 4-5 heaped teaspoons/1 litre of Green Tea Japan Genmaicha and steep it at 75-80 ̊C Celsius for about 1-3 minutes.
