The plantation is located at an altitude of 1,900 m in the Andes, where the best weather conditions exist for the cultivation and sun-drying of this excellent Arabica coffee. The hand-picked coffee is subjected to a careful washing process, so that the beans are particularly gently freed from their pulp. The coffee is then spread out evenly in the sun "patios" where it is dried slowly and evenly by the sun. The coffee is then stored for at least 30 days and is only hulled shortly before export.
