The tea history of Bukhial began around 1920 under the name McNeil & Berry Company. In close association with the agricultural labourers from the ‘Bokotial’ region, which later became ‘Bukhial’, one of the highest quality Assam tea varieties grows on around 570 hectares. This Assam CTC tea impresses with its coarsely and evenly grained leaves and the deep dark cup colour, which is reminiscent of fine teak wood. The purple-red, bright infusions develop spicy peaty notes and a strong, malty-brown depth.
Experience the richness and tradition of Bukhial with the right preparation: use 4-5 level teaspoons per litre of water and leave the tea to infuse at 100°C for around 3 to 5 minutes. Discover an Assam tea that redefines quality and takes your tea experience to a new level.
Summary:
- High-quality Assam teas from 570 hectares of traditional production.
- Deep teak cup colour with spicy-peaty and malty-bread notes.
