Preparation of Capetown Rooibos tea
- 1 teaspoon of tea per cup
- The optimum water temperature is 95-100°C
- 10g to 15g tea per 1 litre of water
- Leave to infuse for approx. 5 minutes for a full flavour experience
- Rooibos tea can generally be steeped for longer without developing bitterness.
- Rooibos tea is classically enjoyed hot, but can also be enjoyed cold as an iced tea.
