Pai Mu Tan is considered to be the best-known "white tea", which is finding more and more friends in this country. A tea plant called Chaicha or Narcissus grows this tea in Fujian province and is also known as "White Peony". After plucking, the tea is dried in the sun or indoors without any technical means. The leaf offers us a green play of colours in all facets, is very voluminous, has a beautiful proportion of elongated, white-silvery leaf tips. The cup shimmers amber and gives off an elegant, spicy flavour. The correct preparation of China BIOPai Mu Tan white tea is also crucial. Here is our tip: Use 4-5 heaped teaspoons/1 litre of China BIOPai Mu Tan white tea and steep it at 75-80 ̊C Celsius for approx. 1-3 minutes.
