This organically grown Tamrayokucha is cultivated and produced in Miyazaki Prefecture on the island of Kyu ̄shu ̄. The name of this variety, which is only available in relatively small quantities, speaks for its quality: Tama = gemstone/jewel Ryoku = green Cha = tea. Compared to Sencha production, Tamaryokucha retains its original appearance during the production process. Its medium-green, somewhat coarser, twisted leaf is slightly reminiscent of "Chun Mee". The bouquet is grassy and fruity, the cup has tones of lime. Soft, nutty notes are accompanied by hints of spinach, creating a lively taste experience. Also something for inexperienced green tea lovers. The correct preparation of Green Tea Japan BIO Tamaryokucha is also crucial. Here is our tip: Use 4-5 heaped teaspoons/1 litre of Green Tea Japan BIO Tamaryokucha and steep it at 75-80 ̊C Celsius for approx. 1-3 min.
