The eastern province of Zheijang is famous for Lung Ching tea, which has been grown since the Tang Dynasty on the western lake Xihu near the city of Lonjing. Also known as "dragon well tea", following a legend about a rain-bringing dragon, it received the distinction of "tea of the emperor", which is hard to beat in terms of homage. Very light, a little sweet-fruity, without losing the classic green tea character, it has a truly royal temperament. After wilting, the top quality is carefully dried by hand in pans to achieve its flat, emerald green leaf. The correct preparation of Green Tea China BIOLung Ching is also crucial. Here is our tip: Use 4-5 heaped teaspoons/1 litre of Green Tea China BIO Lung Ching and steep it at 75-80 ̊C Celsius for approx. 1-3 minutes.
