The name "Hathikuli" is a combination of the words "Hati" meaning "elephant" and "Kuli" meaning "frequent". The tea plantation "Hathikuli" is located near the Kaziranga National Park and is regularly roamed by elephants. When the fine shoots of the young clonal bushes are harvested, they are ploughed by hand, immediately steamed, gently rolled and dried. In this dried state, the organically grown tea is ready to be infused. Assam connoisseurs will immediately notice the uncharacteristic leaf for Assam teas, which is open and wiry, with light green tones, matt iridescent.

On top of this special base belongs an equally outstanding aroma, which we have found in the natural bergamot oils originating from France and Italy. Selected brocade teas from Assam and Rwanda are the basis for our controlled organic breakfast composition. No less strong and aromatic in quality, with a dark copper-brown cup colour and a full, spicy bouquet. A very productive tea blend, which can certainly keep up with the one or other East Frisian quality. Milk or cream and a few pieces of Kluntje are also a perfect complement. Here is our tip: Use 4-5 level teaspoons/1 litre of the Black Tea BIO English Breakfast Broken and let it brew at 100 ̊C Celsius for approx. 3-5 minutes.
