Preparation of East Frisian Tea Tradition

  • 1 teaspoon of tea per cup
  • The optimum water temperature is 95°C
  • 10g to 15g tea per 1 litre of water
  • Leave to infuse for 2-3 minutes for a stimulating effect
  • Steep for up to 5 minutes for a calming effect
  • Avoid longer infusion times at all costs
