The basis of this exceptional rose tea is a hand-picked speciality from the heart of Nuwara-Eliya, grown at an altitude of over 1,500 metres. The tea has been "scented" using a sophisticated production process that deliberately avoids the use of liquid flavourings. The rose note is very subtle, not overpowering, but nevertheless present and harmonises perfectly with the soft floral aroma of the black tea base. The leaf is beautifully open-wired with scattered tips and the infusion has a wonderful floral fragrance. Tea lovers should definitely try this speciality! The correct preparation of Special Rose Congou Black Tea Ceylon is also crucial.
