Guayusa is the caffeinated national drink of the Kichwa people of Ecuador. They have been using the leaves of the up to thirty metre high tree in the rainforest for hundreds of years. A cup of this multi-faceted leaf is brewed not only in the morning after getting up, but also in between meals. The infusion, with its subtly tart to slightly spicy notes and a gentle sweetness, can be enjoyed both hot and cold.The correct preparation of Guayusa organic herbal and spice tea blends is also crucial.
